Here, I will try to post up-to-date information that concerns me and might be of interest to some people... wink
Music tastes (updated data collection method)
Currently I am:
Another blast in the series. I can only highly recommend reading the Dune books. I am heartbroken as I find myself having less and less free time that I might not be able to read the next part for a while. I find the books extremely intriguing mostly due to the subtle messages in the various dialogues.
Nonetheless, I already know I will be re-reading the series while taking detailed notes on EVERYTHING. The fact that one person has written such complex and inspiring piece of text awakens a dreadful awe in me.
I moved onto the AOSA - The Architecture of Open Source Applications. I might get a bit stuck on this one. So far I recommend!
Death Stranding is a Japanese Half-Life reimagined. The cinematic elements of the game are wonderful, and the mechanics seem like a breath of fresh air... (at least compared to Starfield, albeit it holds in general as well!)
Titan Quest (TQ & TQ:IT DLC) is the game of my early teens... I've spent so much time with the game and the recent blogpost about TQ2 of the dev team has me extremely excited. I cannot wait to play (possibly in coop mode).
You can check out my mostly negative (like Steam reivews for this game) Starfield writeup with some nice pics.
I wonder if I will ever find time to learn to make electronic music. It would really be a life-scale achievement for me to create music that creates physical and emotional reaction in people (like some songs do for me).
Anyway, here are my mood playlists for the past few weeks:
Still developing software in C++! I'm still looking into topics that might interest me for my research project. As for my Master's thesis, I am locked into an OS-level topic regarding page tables. I have actually started with gathering information about the area. Aaaaand I am looking into some experimentation with embedded systems (I've got some plans but no time to execute them yet...).
I also discovered that boot chain, booting, bootloaders and BIOS/UEFI architecture/mechanisms interested me very much in the past months so we will see about that...
